It sheds light on human rights abuses and pressures governments to enforce legislation and policies to stop these destructive practices. This is done through investigations, exposing abuses linked to deforestation, and campaigning for change.

Buglife addresses many of the threats to bees and insects including habitat loss and toxins. Their B-lines program establishes wildflower-rich "insect superhighways" to restore pollinator populations in the UK. Partnering with various stakeholders, they offer advice and support for insect-friendly land management, involving farmers, local authorities, government agencies, NGOs, businesses, and individuals in their conservation efforts.

The RWCA, founded to abolish the illegal trade of the endangered grey-crowned cranes in Rwanda, frees these unique and endangered birds from captivity to grow the population and works using a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach to protect other threatened species.
